If you are around Missoula, and you like origami…you need to go to The Book Exchange. These are priced at $12.95 or $11.99, but they sell for $6.50-$6.00! Fancier paper can be found at Rockin’ Rudy’s…and the smaller squares are also found there.

Modular Origami Workshop
Fold each sheet in half. If you can’t find a bone folder, a Point Turner and Seam Creaser can be found where sewing supplies are located!
Open up each sheet, and fold the outer edges into meet the center crease.
Time to make parallelograms! Looking at the bottom brown rectangle, I always fold the bottom right corner up to the top of the rectangle, then fold the top left corner down to the bottom of the rectangle. You could do a reverse of this movement…just be consistent! Please focus on that small white triangle on the upper right of the rectangle…you will tuck that under and follow it with the large triangle…to make the + and secure the flaps.
See the +? Sweet…now flip each parallelogram over!
Fold each acute angle up to the obtuse angle…I set them like this to be sure they are all the same direction. It works if the pieces are all the same!
Pick your bottom color…I have picked brown. The patterned colors are what I will call the sides…stick the points of the sides into the flaps formed by the X.
The last pair (yellow) are the front/back…and again, the points get folded into the X …a bit of wiggling may be required to make it work.
The top is ready to be added!
The finished cube! Only one extra fold, and 4 sheets of 3 colors, will make the Stellated Octahedron!
